Video & Audio Tips
Here are some simple tips to get the best video or audio recording of your performance to send to us with your application.
Most smartphones have great cameras and microphones built in, so feel free to use your phones.
Make sure you are close to the phone while talking, so we can hear you.
Make sure that you are not covering up the microphone with your hand.
The camera should be positioned horizontally and at eye level.
Try to keep your shots steady and not shaky! Ask a friend to step-in as your camera person.
Make sure you are in good light so we can see your awesome performance.
Be mindful of the background and how you want to represent yourself. Try to avoid bright windows or distracting objects in the background.
For audio recordings make sure that your environment is free of ambient noise like televisions, radios or laundry machines.
